Winter session begins Monday!

The winter session runs December 5 to March 12, followed by our spring session, which runs Mach 20 – June 16. If you were registered in the previous session, you will be automatically added to the winter session. If you do not wish to participate in this session, you must communicate with us by email info@commongrounddance.ca.

Holiday activities at the studio:

Bake Sale

Calling all bakers! Want to contribute? The studio will be holding its first annual Holiday bake sale. Parents and students will be able to purchase some holiday goodies at the studio on December 9 & 10. Proceeds will go toward the 2023 CGDA dance recital (see details below).

Email us at info@commongrounddance.ca by December 7th and include the item(s) you’ll be making and the quantity. Please make sure to identify any allergens and label if gluten free, vegan, or peanut/nut free).

How many chocolates in a jar?

Back by popular demand! Dancers will have a chance to guess how many chocolates are in the jars. Winners take all! Stop by the main desk and put in your guesses. Guessing starts on December 5th and the winner will be announced by email on December 19th. Guess as many times as you want! Each guess is $1.

Pyjama week December 17^th – 24^th

Come to the studio in your jammies the week of December 17 to December 24.

Dance Performance Training Saturday, Decmeber 10^th

Sport Science Canada will be holding an information session on Saturday, December 10 at 12:15pm to 1:15pm, at the studio. Learn about the benefits of strength and conditioning, what are the most common injuries and how to prevent them. If you would like to attend, please email us with your dancer’s name and age.

Save the date: Recital 2023

We are busy planning our second annual recital at the Shenkman Arts Centre! Mark the following dates on your calendar:

● June 4th – Picture Day (at the studio)

● June 5th – Dress Rehearsal

● June 15th and June 16th – Show 1 and Show 2

Winter Break December 24th – January 8th

It’s that time of year! The studio will be closed between December 24 and January 8. All classes will resume on January 9, 2023.

Lost and Found

Dancers lose things, it happens! The studio has accumulated many lost items. Please claim your lost items before December 24. Unclaimed items will be donated to charity.
