Summer Camp Registration 

Spots are still available! CGDA is offering 7 weeks of summer camp fun starting July 4th. 

Camps run from Monday – Friday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm (exception of the first week Tues-Fri).

Register today and pay later (invoices will be posted at the end of May). 

Recreation Summer Dance Camps (mini 3-6 and junior 8-11)

• July 4-7 (4-day week)

• July 10-4 

• July 17-21

• August 31-4 

• August 7-11

• August 21-25

What to expect during the week: Kids will dance, do arts and crafts, and go to the park on sunny days. Kids must bring a packed lunch (nut-free), a water bottle, sunscreen, and a hat. 

Summer Intensive (ages 6+, experience required) please speak to Miss White regarding experience if you have any questions.

• August 14-18 

Summer camp volunteers needed! If your dancer is 12 years old or up and would be interested in volunteering as a camp assistant, email us at info@commongrounddance.ca or sign up in-studio. 

Recital: The World of Disney

The recital is quickly approaching! The magical sound of Disney music can be heard in each studio. 

This year we are running two shows and your dancers must be at both. If that’s not possible, please communicate that with your dancer’s teacher. 

Date Show 1: Thursday, June 15  

Date Show 2: Friday, June 16 

Location: Shenkman Arts Centre, 245 Centrum Blvd, Orléans, ON K1E 0A1. 

Time: 5 pm – 7 pm

The studio will be selling flowers and apparel during the recital shows. 

Recital Costumes

Recital costumes are in! Your dancers can take them home once they’ve been purchased. Please keep them somewhere safe. You’ll need to wear them for picture day, dress rehearsal and the recital shows. See dates above! 

Hair and Make-up: 

Hair must be styled in a middle part, slicked back mid-ponytail or bun depending on the style your dancer takes.

Make-up must include red lipstick, light foundation, neutral tone eyeshadow and mascara. 

Competitive Auditions

Competitive Auditions are coming up June 3^rd

Fall Registration

Fall registration will be open online through the parent portal June 17^th, 202! Your dancer will receive class recommendations for Fall registration.
